Virgin Red are back with another competition – The Showcase! There are a number of prizes you can win by taking part everyday. There could also be bonus codes given out which can increase your points so keep an eye out for them on the Virgin Red Twitter feed and Facebook page. Check back here every day to find the latest Virgin Red Vault Competition Answers. You can also see the bonus codes I’ve found below!

  2. Day 1 and I only need 750 points to complete it. With a minimum of 1325 points left from the app; guess there’s not going to be any problem completing it.

  3. I also only require 550 points to get into VIP vault on day 1. Where are all the promised exciting new things? Still it is free to enter so no real grumble.

      Hopefully they will come soon. I think they should make the points a bit more intereactive – with access to so many social media accounts they could have secret codes you have to DM or something like that to get a reply back with the bonus point code. That would be more fun.

  4. Five out of seven March vaults opened on day one and only 550 points left for VIP. Is it me, or is this getting easier? 😛

    1. I assume you are verified with Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Media, Virgin Money and Virgin Active so start off with 1000 points?

      When I first started recording the points required for the VIP Vault you needed 2500. Now you only need 1500. I think they lowered the max points when they lost the train franchise (so people lost 250 points from that) but otherwise I can’t work out why they’ve dropped the points so low.

      1. Well last month the Jan VIP winners got a £30 Amazon voucher. Hardly VIP and certainly not “You could win a pair of Richard Branson’s favourite sunglasses”.. I’d imagine he spends a little more than 30 quid.

          the ‘VIP’ Vault has generally been smaller prizes than the vault before. The ‘VIP’ is ‘you’ as you have made it that far.

          I’d have thought a holiday on Necker Island would be more VIP but I doubt that would ever appear on the App!

  7. Whilst I’ll continue to play as it’s free and keep following the Rev’s threads the prizes are getting worse. 5 bottles of gin? A while ago it would have been at least 25. The penultimate prize is forever 40k air miles. And as for the VIP vault well last month it was 10 folk winning a £30 Amazon voucher. £300 I could see but £30?

      They must be, they recently ”had to” put my internet and phone bundle up by £3 and also my SIM cost.

  8. It’s certainly a difficult time for airlines who have lost business by closing routes. Still it was the correct decision by Virgin. The cruise industry is hurting due to the virus on the ship in Japan. I would think Virgin would be insured, but would insurers cover a decision by Virgin not to fly to China, etc. Without the government or WHO making it mandatory?
    I’m flying today with Virgin to USA. Hoping for an upgrade! 🙂

      I made the decision to not to promote Profit Accumulator (or similar things) on here.

      There are lots of other people/places promoting PA so I don’t think its a gap in the market I need to fill.

    Hidden somewhere on social media, no clues and the first 10 people to find and enter code will unlock all vaults.

      The (r)Ed the Duck twitter account (https://twitter.com/rEd_the_Duck) is unofficial so I’m surprised it is being used to ‘leak’ this info.

      10 extra people into the VIP vault? Hardly seems worth it and the people who find it and use it will probably already be in the VIP vault.

      However, if they do release it then it is all a bit of fun!

      Thanks – I managed to find these ones myself! I guess they don’t really have a team of people to write questions and I think usually the questions are around events/items they are promoting and they aren’t really promoting anything at the moment.

          I don’t think they have given up but I think they have a few challenges.

          1) Staff are either WFH or unable to work due to isolation
          2) The quizzes usually reference a giveaway/promotion already on the app. Or a holiday/celebration. Seeing as everything is cancelled I guess they don’t want to be labelled as ‘insensitive’.
          3) People aren’t rushing to play the Virgin Red app at this time.

          I hope they keep the app going but expect it to be very quiet in the next month or two.

  35. The quiz question are no longer a challenge, no thought required to even guess an answer! I realise some staff may be writing the questions from home in these times, but we need our minds challenged as well otherwise it is really boring.

      I think the team are probably just (literally) phoning it in. As this CV situation in the UK develops we might see the lockdown going on longer. If this is the case then I’m sure the Virgin Red team will get back to standard on their question setting.

      I think an extra quiz (Monday – Wednesday – Friday) and making them a bit harder would be good and more fun for everyone. They could increase the vault levels by the extra 250 points so that it doesn’t just mean everyone gets into the VIP Vault.

    I’m quite pleased that I don’t have to sign up for loads of virgin stuff to have a chance.
