Virgin Red Hints, Tips & Bonus Points

There have been a few comments on my Virgin Red individual blog posts for help in getting into the VIP Vaults. I thought I’d share my usual tips but also any extra things which could help people get into that final vault.

The Reverend’s Tip # 1

There are other ways to earn points including using my joining code above to earn an extra 50 points when you start! For an easy 50 points use my invite code IDTLD3.

The Reverend’s Tip #2

Sign up to Virgin Atlantic (it is free) and get 250 points a month for no effort! It takes only a minute and will increase you monthly points total by 250 points. Don’t forget to go into the app and enter you membership number to get the points.

The Reverend’s Tip #3

If you put a new profile picture up on the app you’ll get an extra 50 points. It looks like you can only do this once a month but it is an easy 50 points for this competition.

The Reverend’s Tip #4

When you complete vaults or answer questions  you are able to use the button on the top right to send an email telling people. You can only do it five times per month and each one gives you an extra 25 points.

The Reverend’s Tip #5

At the end of the month you might have got into the VIP Vault or you might be miles away from it. One thing I do to help my chances of getting into the VIP Vault is that in the last 2 or 3 days of the month I will NOT do the Quiz or ‘Show & Tell’. This means I can do the tiles on the first day of the next month and give myself an additional head start. This can be 50 points or even 100 points.

The Reverend’s Tip #6

Occasionally the Virgin Red team mess up their quizzes and either reset the quiz OR put a totally new quiz up. When this happens you can do the quiz again but you DON’T lose your original 50 points for the first attempt.
