Fly To New York Cheap! Flights for £127 return with luggage

I couldn’t believe it when I got this notification from Holiday Pirates. Flights to New York, with luggage, for £127 return! Last time I went to Edinburgh it almost cost me this much!

As always with possible error fares it is a good idea to hold fire and wait for confirmations but at this rate I will be going to New York for just over £250 for two people! I have never been to New York before so I am really looking forward to it.

The stop overs in Canada are short on the way out and slightly longer on the way back but will give us time to stretch our legs. I’m sure there will be a TV Series to watch for when we are really bored. Or at worst, a 3 hour snooze before we are back on the plane!

Cost

Including the CC surcharge, 2 tickets to New York from London Heathrow comes to just under £259. I really can’t complain about this.

Reason for Visit

Firstly, I’ve never been to New York before so I’m really looking forward to it. I know it is going to be COLD but I do enjoy a bit of cold weather and I even went to Chicago when it had its crazy cold snap a few years ago! Secondly, I have friends out there and they have flown over a few times to catch up so this will give me the chance to return the visiting favour. Thirdly, it was £250 for a pair of return tickets! I’d struggle to fly anywhere in Europe, with luggage, for that price!

As these are ‘error fare’ tickets there is a possiblity they will be cancelled. This travel agent’s rules say nothing is binding until the tickets have been emailed to you. They also say tickets will be emailed within 48 hours so I’m starting my clock ticking! What-ever you do, don’t phone or contact the airline or the travel agent straight away. Wait that 48 hours and then, if you’ve not received anything, drop them a line. Vitally Important! Do not book any hotels/connections/etc until you have received confirmed tickets.
