Virgin Red are back with another competition for December! There are a number of prizes you can win by taking part everyday. There could also bonus codes given out which can increase your points so keep an eye out for them on the Virgin Red twitter feed and facebook page. Check back here every day to find the latest Virgin Red Vault Competition Answers. You can also see the bonus codes I’ve found below!

Advertisements

Sign up to Virgin Atlantic (it is free) and get 250 points a month for no effort! It takes only a minute and will increase you monthly points total by 250 points. Don’t forget to go into the app and enter you membership number to get the points.

The Reverend’s Tip #3

If you put a new profile picture up on the app you’ll get an extra 50 points. It looks like you can only do this once a month but it is an easy 50 points for this competition.

The Reverend’s Tip #4

When you complete vaults or answer questions  you are able to use the button on the top right to send an email telling people. You can only do it five times per month and each one gives you an extra 25 points.

      2. Virgin Red will know when they released the codes to the public and will be able to see when people enter the codes in the App.

        Whether there will be any repercussions if you use a code before it is released, who knows?

        I’ve not seen any on social media yet. These are the daily questions on the first tile of the app each day – you just click them and it takes you through to the page where you enter the bonus code. These vary in value and we’ve seen a 250 point answer today.

      I think that all the answers will be christmas related and so you could guess loads if you just want to open the vaults. Its not one they have released already.

      Whether guessing affects your chance of winning a vault, I don’t know. Thats why I don’t put guesses in my main blog post but as some people like to enter everything they can, I keep guesses in the comments so people can add them as they want.

      If I do find any ‘official’ extra bonuses you can be sure i’ll post them in the main blog post with a link to them like I did for previous Virgin Red competitions.

      1. Hi, Yes, sometimes in the small hours when I can’t sleep I’ll check into Virgin Red. It’s a mistake to attempt the Quiz at that time. Things arent usually set up quite right. Like arriving at a dinner party to early & finding the hostess wearing hair curlers & very little else. I researched & got the Quiz wrong the other day with ‘CHADS’. So when I struggled in searching to find a definitive answer to this quiz on wine i decided to leave it until tonight & look up on here. Thank you Clive. I am sooo keen to get my VIP VAULT 🙂

  25. The answer for the 21st is Yuletide.

    I attempted the quiz and got the first question wrong, is there a way to retake it at all?

    I’m on 3650 points and have just opened vault number 11!

      My questions 1 and 2 were

      Finish the sentence : We _______ you a merry Christmas
      Finish the Sentence : ______ night

      The 3rd question remains the same.

        2. It wasn’t that they were harder but the 2002 answer is ambiguous as I for one put 2005 because that is when the domination really started not 2002. 2003 and 2004 were not reality show hits.

  36. Hi thanks for replying.When open app still got reverse auction up. If I go to vaults still have yesterfays qurstion but I had done thst. Had email re extra yesterday but don’t think it worked.
    Points are 2675 last two vaults remain closed.

    1. You need more points than 2675 for the final two vaults. I’m not sure if you’ll make it with only 3 days left.

      There have been no bonuses for the last 2 days and I think that might be the same for the rest of the month.

      Hopefully you can get at least one of your two remaining vaults open.

  37. I am at 4900, 100 from the final Vault. I thought that I would miss it by miles until the Christmas day bonus pushed me into reaching distance, combined with the tips for getting extra points which I used today. Should just have time to open the final Vault by the 31st Dec!

  45. Ok thanks. How can you tell? It never seems to relate to anything? Just asks to enter todays answer..but does not ask a question. I have only found answers on here in the past..lol to non-existent questions. Am I missing something?

      Ah. I understand what you are referring to now. There is a section in the app to add a answer. Virgin Red have been giving bonuses out in some of their competitions but not all of them. For this one the first page of the app was a question and the bonus answer could be entered into that section. You could try all the bonuses I’ve given in my blog post as you might have missed one.

      Maybe they will give one more for new year’s eve but I think the daily bonuses are over for this month.

      I’m not sure what the maximum points are. I suppose it could be workedout. The problem is that the Virgin Red Staff can give out bonus points and its not always easy to follow when they do it and how many points it can be for.

      My guess is there is usually a joint first place and based on the numbers they released the other day, there are LOADS of people taking part.

      If not, have you tried sharing the various pages from the app via email? They are 25 points per time and I think you can do it 3 or 5 times.
