What Did I Play Last Week – Sunday 5th May
Its been a mixed week this week. Here is a rundown of what I’ve been playing. If you fancy checking out my gaming credentials then I’ve blogged about how I’m unashamedly an adult gamer.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
This week I managed to get some more levelling up on the sniper rifle. Its taking FOREVER as it is bolt load, slow fire! I’m also not very good!
New maps were available for the multiplayer so I’ve managed to get on one of them. I like it, its like the preparation for a parade, but I don’t know the good places to hide out. The wide open spaces from the rooftops means I at least get to get some kills with the sniper rifle!
I also saw they brought back ‘Prop Hunt’. I find this a really fun game and played it loads on CODWW2. I was rubbish at it but I don’t know the maps as well as CODWW2. Only a few games of this so I could get back to levelling up the gun.
Once these are done I can consider prestige-ing. Knowing my luck, there will be another COD out before I manage it!
Resident Evil
As a bit of a distraction from the grind of levelling up in COD I checked out what I had in my library that I’d not played. Resident Evil was sat there and I thought ‘why not’.
Its a remastered version for the PS4.
I played it for about an hour in total and I am rubbish at it! Properly Rubbish! I also hate the camera angles and the way your controls change depending on how the game is feeling! Running up the stairs away from a baddie? Why don’t you, for no reason, start running back towards the baddie? Maybe that will be fun.
I am playing on the hardest mode and it is taking 8-10 bullets to kill one bad guy. I’ve killed 3 so far. In an hour!
I might keep playing but I might find something else. I never played the original game so the storyline and game is completely new to me.
How Am I Playing Them?
As always, I’m on my trusty launch-day PS4. It sounds a bit like a hoover on full whack so I think it might be on its last legs at some point but it still plays games. I am trying to hold off buying a PS4 Pro as its a big old unit and I’m not too bothered about playing in 4k (or Pseudo 4k) as when I’m playing 1080p on my 55″ screen I think the picture looks ace!
What’s Next?
I really fancy trying a zombie game out. Not my usual genre but there have been a couple of great ones out on the PS4. If I don’t do that then probably more gun leveling up on COD:BLOPS4. Boring but I want to do it before I prestige. I still have two Assassin’s Creed games to finish and I’ll still then be at least 2 games behind in the series (Egypt & Rome I’ve not got yet).
