I know what you are thinking, “There is no possible way I could become an ACTUAL superhero and SAVE lives?” Think again! Here is how you can do both of these things and more amazingly, it won’t even cost you a single penny. Better still, you can get free food, drink and cool collectables!

As outlined above, you can get free drinks and food. You also get sent collectables on a regular basis. Better than all of this, and they are all great in their own way, is the moral high-ground you can take with your friend.

How do I become a Superhero?

Unfortunately not everyone can become a life-saving superhero. Sorry about that. There are also some pretty ‘wrong’ rules about other people who can’t be superheros but these are slowly changing over time. Although you can’t be a superhero today, you might be able to become a superhero tomorrow so do keep checking back regularly.

Who can become a Superhero?

Most people can become a superhero. You can save lives if you:

  • are fit and healthy
  • weigh over 7 stone 12 lbs or 50kg
  • are aged between 17 and 66 (or 70 if you have been a superhero before)
  • are over 70 and have been a superhero in the last two years

How often can I earn my bragging rights?

Men can give do it every 12 weeks and women, every 16 weeks.

If you have an existing medical condition or have a question about your eligibility to be a superhero you should check the health & eligibility and travel sections of this website before you try to be a superhero.

Common eligibility questions include:

  • receiving treatment
  • taking medication
  • travelling outside of the UK
  • tattoos
  • pregnancy
  • illness
  • cancer
  • received blood, blood products or organs
