Welcome to 2019! We are now in the future! Virgin Red are back with another competition – Pick Me Ups! There are a number of prizes you can win by taking part everyday. There could also be bonus codes given out which can increase your points so keep an eye out for them on the Virgin Red twitter feed and facebook page.     1. Still there Neoma, there’s nothing on the app that tells you you’ll get points for sharing, just go into a vault you’ve already opened and the share symbol is at the top right

  5. To whoever was struggling to get verified with Virgin Trains a couple of days ago, try it today. They seem to have sorted the glitch in the system.

    1. Further to this thread, I contacted Virgin Red and they added my 50 points. This is the second time that I’ve dealt with them and they have been excellent on both occasions. Really good customer service.

      It looks like Virgin Red have updated the question – they sometimes do this when people complain about one of the answers. It previously read ‘what were teabags originally made out of?’

  19. Apologies, but I am tea geek. Thomas Sullivan was a US Tea Trader who sent samples of his tea offerings in silk pouches. Some of the recipients thought that this was for convenient brewing and in 1906 the ‘teabag’ was born.

    Doesn’t help with the points accumulation but both answers are correct and I just could not resist a tea subject

  21. Reading the above I think I need to get into the habit of doing the quiz early on in the day like earlier than the 10am ish I tend to do it then revisit it again later on to see if there’s been any resets. As a verified on only two person I usually miss out on the VIP Vault.

  28. Two questions: if you win, do you receive notice during the first 2 weeks of the month or do they notify people throughout the month?

    Is it just me, or has bonus points ground to a halt?

  54. Just a quick question…

    I’ve only got 25 points left to go into the last vault after today’s this or that, (which I will get into tomorrow using tomorrow’s this or that!) my question is how long does the quizzes stay active for? If I don’t do the quiz today and try save it for Friday when the February one starts will it last that long? I know that the this and that’s don’t work after the day is up but how long does the quizzes and show and tells stay up for? May sound like a stupid question but just wondering if it’s worth saving it for Friday?

  57. How long do the show and tells stay up for please? Basically with today’s I’d still need 150 points tomorrow for VIP, that’s not going to happen without a code so wondered if I could save that one for Feb?
