I have a Fire TV Stick and it is amazing with what it can do. Not only are there the TV apps which allow you to watch most of your catch-up services but there are also games which are much better than you expect and plenty of them are free!
Most days the BBC iPlayer app is used and of an evening I often watch a film on Amazon Prime Video. There are plenty of free films on Amazon Prime Video but you also have the choice of renting (or buying) many of the top releases. Finally, the YouTube app is great when you have recieved a funny video on your phone but you want to show lots of people at once. Rather than all crowd round your 5 inch phone screen you can show them all on your TV in no time what-so-ever.
